A Beautiful Autumn evening along the Jersey Shore, some gorgeous classic cars and some friendly owners. What more could one ask? Oh, and the chance to see a couple of my old favorites.
It seems everyone has a vehicle or three to which they have personal connections. I can across one at this show and one that was allllllmoooooost one of my favorite cars.
You will have to watch the video to find out which is which. Enjoy! Click the image to play the video.

Classic Car Cruze at TK's Ice Cream in Cream Ridge
A small but friendly gathering of car enthusiasts came out to swap stories, and check out the cars at TK's Ice Cream along route 539 in Cream Ridge, NJ. An evening show made for a nice moderate temperature and no harsh shadows made for some nice pictures and video. Unfortunately while transferring the videos from the memory card to the computer several great shots were lost. (This has happened twice in the past week with two different cards). I lost some really nice video of two Chevy Chevelle's driving in to the cruise. Oh well, as they say the show must go on.... enjoy.
Great Ice cream, great cars, great night!

Seaside Heights Car Show
Blue Skies, and moderate temperatures made it a perfect day for a car show in Seaside Heights. Add to the fact the Seafood Festival was a couple blocks away, and you have the makings of a perfect day.
Beautiful, classic cars lined Bay Boulevard, some recent some not so. And check out the untouched, unrestored, all original Chevy with 52,000 original miles. Turns out it's owned by a High School classmate, but he wasn't at the car when I was there. Maybe next time Dean!

Ridgeway Fire Company Car Show
Classic and custom cars filled the lot at Ridgeway Volunteer Fire Company. From a Corvair just beginning to be restored, to a fully restored DeSoto, and everything in between. There was an antique tow truck with it's towing fees printed on the side, and one car may have been haunted, you'll have to watch the full video to see.

Lakehurst Classic Car Show 2013
The Annual Indpendence Day Classic Car show in Lakehurst, NJ is usually a hot one, and 2013 was no different. One thing though, the blazing sun makes for some great shine off these vintage cars. This video is actually a slideshow. I am now shooting with a DSLR and the bright sun made it impossible to see the LCD screen, so I decided to go with stills. I have now added an LCD viewfinder to my tool kit, so that shouldn't be a problem in the future.
My 12 year old son got a kick out of the 1.4 ton Austin pickup, looked like he might actaully be able to pick it up.
Here's the video, enjoy.
More to come as we head out to car shows around the region. Keep it tuned here. Remember to subscribe and leave a comment if you like what you see or have ideas about what you would like to see.

Lakehurst Classic Car Show July 4th
Short video on the annual July 4th Classic Car show in Lakehurst NJ. yes, that Lakehurst, where the Hindenburg crashed and burned. Classic Cars like the main drag in town and fill the school yard. Fireworks over the lake at night, cap the evening as we celebrate our independence. This is the 2012 show.
